Assessing Corporate Social Responsibility Program Development Initiatives:
Assisting the setting up and implementation of social development programs in Africa, China, Australia and Philippines for international mining companies and contractors.
Social Development Program Review:
Designing and implementing strategic reviews of community development programs in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Philippines, at four gold mine sites in China, and for two mining companies in Queensland and Western Australia.
Assisting mining companies and mining sector contractors assess their social license to operate.
Facilitating fledgling Australian-based NGO in building relationships and creating sustainable programs locally and internationally.
Public Relations Support and Strategy Advice:
Designing and delivering training to DR Congolese and Chinese staff in cross cultural communication skills. Providing pro bono public relations capacity building resources to the Congo Protestant University (UPC ) including editing a semi-annual newsletter that is distributed to UPC’s English-speaking supporters around the world.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Conducting M&E activities for international donor programs in Africa and China, and assisting private companies and organisations in the international and Australian NGO sector across the Asia-Pacific region.
Developing Key Communication Tools and Strategies:
Building and cultivating key relationships with communities, government and non-government organizations and wider stakeholder engagement. Facilitating and managing relationships from a distance with mining companies and remote Indigenous communities.
Project Advice and Partnership Management:
Managing partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, international and national donors and volunteers on a range of projects. These include micro finance and small business, health and integrated rural development initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo, China and across the Asia-Pacific region.
