Welcome to Clay International Partners

Clay International Partners is a consultancy that provides personalised services and advice to organisations and companies who wish to develop new approaches, methods and tools to support their sustainable social and community development efforts. Led by Lucy Hobgood-Brown (America-born, Africa-raised, Australia-based), Clay International Partners can facilitate assessments, strategic planning and policy development, participatory program implementation and management, staff training, monitoring and evaluation, and cross cultural communication initiatives.

Associates Sue Allan and Kiran Hutchinson work closely with Lucy, and also have expertise in international development and experience across the Asia-Pacific Region. Clay International Partners can mobilise other specialists to cater to client needs when required.

What is social development?

Social development involves expanding opportunities for people to gain access to such basic necessities as economic resources, health care services and education through their own active and collective participation.

We can assist you in creating corporate social responsibility or community development programs that will help you ensure constructive engagement with local communities.

HandUp Congo’s projects are varied and responsive to community needs. They include sustainable bee keeping, women’s microfinance, education for Pygmy orphans and health care.
